The Writing Bug is Back

To e-read or not to e-read?
Live From The Real World has been on a bit of a tape delay these days, but I have a good excuse! A new job and a long-awaited leap into an industry I'm passionate about have consumed this blogger's life for almost two months already. Time flies fast when you're adjusting to a field that you have little to no experience with, excluding the bits and pieces of knowledge I've collected over the years from my father, a longtime publishing pro.

Now that the rocky intro period is subsiding and I'm finally beginning to settle in, I hope to return to this blog on a more frequent basis. In the meantime, I'm happy to report that I recently became a contributor for the website to the Young to Publishing Group, a networking group for entry-level and junior publishing employees in New York City. My first write-up on YPG's enhanced e-books panel is this week's featured story, and can be found here.

Happy reading! Please feel free to share any thoughts or comments on the article.

  1. It's alive, IT'S ALIVE!!!! (your writing bug that is)

I'm very happy to see you back. It would see that what died in the depths of underemployment re-spawns in the arms of the publishing industry, which makes me very pleased indeed. I am glad to reflect on the symbolism and psychological indications the revisions to this blog's title and other details imbues.

  2. Thanks Jamesie. I value your feedback, especially when it's so well articulated (then again, I expect nothing less from you!)
